I'mĀ Josh Nichols
I grew up in a single-parent home, and man, I've been through a lot of financial struggles. I've had my electricity cut off, faced bankruptcy, and there was even a time when I couldn't open a bank account (long story). These experiences have taught me some hard lessons about money.
One thing I've noticed is that most financial advice out there lacks empathy. There's little understanding for the lack of education about money that many of us have. People don't consider the tough choices we have to make, like borrowing money for groceries or trying to avoid debt while our kids are hungry. Life is tough, and dealing with money can be just as hard. That's why I started BTG – to bring empathy into the conversation about bridging the gap between where we are and where we want to be with our money.
Even if coaching isn't your thing, I hope you find the info here helpful on your journey to a better relationship with money.
